Jacques Kint (16986km): Swan bay,
Pb for swan bay today in gusty and up down conditions, i thought that the tide would have allowed us to sail on the banks today but i was about an hour or so to late for this to be good and safe, went out on the speed board and Delta first and was getting high 39's but the water level was getting a bit dodgy. headed back and caught up with Ado and decided to head around to the boat ramp launch, should have stayed and just worked uor way to the bay but thats how it goes, headed out on the 5.5 and Slalom board and hooked a few good runs found a nice piece of semi flat water and worked that for a while in between waiting for wind, thought today was gunna be a bit better, oh well still good times, oh and a little bit cold today!!!!!! Dale Keating (6138km): well done Jaques, swan bay is almost sandy pt equivalent. probably would have gone to swan bay if i new jaques was there but only had a few hrs before work, so went to Pt Henry. gusty as Jaques said, on and off and rain periods. choppy and hard to find good flat patches without hitting sand bars and getting caught up in weed. 1st try of vector weed on speed board, performed well although didn't shed all of the weed. traling edge is sharp like a knife so i will blunton it off. cut my hand with a light rub. carbon art 53, 5m ka koncept, 25cm vector weed. |
