Had a great sail at Melville today. Shame I had to listen to a couple of guys whinging about how terrible
Melville is before I went out.
Should of stayed longer.

Spent session convincing myself it was 7m weather, tail walking everywhere made for an interesting sail not fast just loose.Out side gybes felt good though .Captain wanted an alpha pb so I had to go back out and try harder.

PHEW! Scary! I could only manage going across to Pelican Point, a short out and back and then home again - way too windy for a 5.0! Was surprised to see over 26 on the dial and I wasn't even trying to go fast - just trying to stay alive!
Nice PBs CJ! They just keep rolling in! :)

Gusts were too much for me and after a dismount on the bank I decided it was time to practice with the wave gear. Thought I had some good gybes - not to be. Good training in high wind conditions on the small board anyway. Good to see Dangerous running amok...with a fair few of the crew having a crack.
Well done to all the PBer's - well earned in today's wind.

Futura 93, Tush 6.0 T4 & 27 DSW - Starting to like this combo!! Very gusty and some big shifts, but great fun!! Squeezed out a little more speed!! First time I've done 31 knots where I wasn't just a passenger!!!

Exocet Cross 84L with 6.0M T-bird & 22.5 LE Weedy
Exocet Cross 94L with 6.0M T-bird & 29cm & 25cm Select fins
Best speeds done on the 94L with 25cm fin
Both boards felt great tonight, riding flat & feeling safe in the gusts.
Best after work sail in ages
PB for the 94L board

Great day, right up to the point where I stacked it and wacked my head on the boom.
Good to meet you CJ, congrats on the PBs!
