nice sail comparing v max35 and S12 35 with the 7.8, the S12 feels quite powerful and copes very well  with 7.8  with no hint of spinout and feels fast off the wind.

Really good to get a session in the dying wind after work. I arrived in the rain and Simon and Jonny were just getting out. The wind was up and down but just enough to get going on the 7m, although I was off the plane plenty of the time. Would actually have been a really good sail on the Formula but blimey the little slalom board felt light and lively after riding the supertanker on Sunday. One thing for sure is that sailing formula makes sailing the smaller boards so much easier and the big board is great for sailing fitness. Another evident fact is that you really need a floaty board for this place, and unless it is really windy, even a 90litre is frustrating here due to the lack of steady wind. around 6pm the wind changed to the perfect direction, WSW, but sadly dropped. Nonetheless superb to get out for what probably will be the last after work sail this autumn.

rigged the 6.6, squalls came through and I expected the wind to pick so changed down. Wrong decision. Lot of wind but only in gusts so I didnt have enough sail to get really lit up. Crap session. Kept thinking one last try then I will get a bigger board or fin or sail but knew the light was going quickly, and my big yellow watch is broken so didnt know how late it was, 3rd gone in less than a year, all from water inside, not really fit for purpose unless they came from a bad batch.

Well done Camel and Jim, those are great PBs

Should have tried my 32 fin, think that could have given me what I needed. There wasnt enough wind close in to slingshot with my 6m, but there was plenty 100m out where I needed more fin. Was good to start getting used to the smaller kit, especially in what is light winds for that size
