Good start to the year...had a couple of good runs early on, but struggled to repeat them, once the tide dropped and the course became bumpy. Some massive short lived gusts to add to the excitement! A few out...in the relatively mild conditions.

Interesting day...windy choppy and gusty...good practice for survival stance! Seem to be doing a lot of that lately. Actualy pretty pleased with a 37 knot peek...nearly killed me

Found it pretty tough to get a good set up at portland today, managed some pretty interesting dismounts too!

Forecast said 25 gusting 40, we had about 10 knots till 11am , it then got a bit windy but it never got that good. Just me and Ant Todd were sailing.

Good to get out for a couple of days at the Ray and stay over in the vans.. it was nice to do a bit of tuning. Â shame the wind did not come through quite as forecast!
