John, or anyone,

I was at Shingle Splitters yeasterday (Monday) , about 18 20 knot NE but dropped down about 4pm.  I am interested whether south end of lake got the same wind as up at Coalie & sand islands.  Anyone able to say how strong & did it drop out about 4pmish?

Bruce, yes it died off about 4.

Post up your speeds though as it would be a shame to see John's speeds go to waste!

Well done John excellent PBs. Shame you couldnt have stayed out a little longer and got the full set.

I think you need to go to Sandy Point with the boys next year. I reckon you could go close to 40 if the wind played ball.Wink

Bruce,

It didn't drop much at Coal Point, I recorded my 30 kts at 5pm and when I came in at 5.30 it was much the same.
