Fanatic Falcon 80.  MUF 19cm Delta Speed.  6.6 Gaastra Nitro 4, changing down to 5.8 Aerotech charge.  Best speeds on the Aerotech.

Wow - addictive.  Finally accessing the flat water of Primbee in a good noreaster.  First time on the MUF delta.  Kept spinning out horribly on the 6.6, but then on the 5.8 it was awesome, comfortably handling chop and all.  I think the 6.6 was just too big for the conditions so I won't give up on it.

Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU NE up to high 20's at times.

Started off on the raceboards with Ben. Had a great zig-zag down the lake and then back up with me riding off the fin and Ben on the centreboard. The centreboard won, but it was reasonably close. The wind increased after lunch and was on the limit with the 9.5, so came in and swapped to the isonic for some flat water blasting over at Primbee with Mark, Terry & Anibal. The wind died at the end of the day, so I walked backFrown.

It's been a great 2012 for the Speedsters, looking forward to 2013Smile

Bushy - a walk home is always better than a swim home!!  Good to see they found those three teenage canoe adventurers eventually!  I'd like to think our antics on the Primbee foreshore helped in the search ( or at least entertained the police officers).
