Rock 4.2 Carve 131. not enough wind! had a good session Laughing

CR6.7, Sonic85, 32F1. When the wind finally came in I found the 6.7 too much of a handful - had my best runs then though. Been almost 4 weeks since I last got out - I had almost forgotten how to rig up (though rigging 3 sails soon reminded me (mine, CB's, and the hire fleet))!

115L F2 Stoke with 7.0M T-bird

Sweet combination, nice powered up cruising.

Started on 7.6 TR4 and 135 isonic then changed down to the 86 isonic.

Seems like i did not miss out on too much wind while I was away.

Good gusty Melville day

Futura 101, Lightning 6.5, Choco 34 - Gusty but great to get on the water. What boat?

Nauli (21836km):

Gusty breeze...strong at times but lots of holes.

Day of experimentation with  some new (second hand) gear.

Started out with Redline 7.0; iSonic 105; Drake 36

Then Redline 7.0; JP Slalom Pro 84; JP 30

Then Gaastra Nitro5 6.6; JP Slalom Pro 84; JP 30

finished with Nitro 6.6; iSonic 105; Choco 34

Good to get some wind finally...NM's were choppy but the "party boat" moored on the second post with the ...umm...er...naked young ladies on board kept me just hangin' in for the NM's...hmm, maybe that's why they weren't that quick...kept slowing down near the stern of said craft!

Had a good slalom blast at Leighton Beach with Blair G.

Isonic 101, 38 vector, CR 7.0 proto

Borgy (16631km):

Futura 122, NCX7.5, 40cm Drake.

Interesting day, started at 2pm with gusts and lots of downtime.  Too tired to capitalise on the breeze from 3.30 onwards. Good to get out after weeks of no sailing.

This is just to taunt me isn't it Yell stuck on the beach on crutches and no binoculars to watch the windsurfing.

I have to say the new ACL reconstruction programmes so far appears light years ahead of the one's I did 15 years ago.

Good to see the team out and about FROM THE BEACH, 3 months to go and counting.

darryl, do you find the 7.6 a touch too big for the 86?
