NW wind on Pandora Pond, using 7.0 X15, which was nice and stable in the gusts, which were probably around 30 knots or so.  Part of the session was on an AHD 258 with a 32 cm fin, then back to my old Hotworks board and 28cm fin.  Got up to 30.7 on the AHD, then 31.2 on the Hotworks.  I'm not sure if it was a stronger gust or the smaller fin, or the different board.  No gt-31 freeze today.  It was warm.

Chris - great you got out and the GPS still running!! May be some wind this w/e into next week (prob not - don't want to jinx it) ...

Looks like its your turn for the wind Craig!. Good to see you got the AHD wet finally and had some warm weather as a bonus.

Q - What do you use for advance forcasting in your area? (I have had a look at  Napier reef on Windguru but it doesn't seem to reflect the actual conditions?)

Hey Chris, I usually look at Buoyweather.com for forecast. It seems to be more accurate that wind guru for this location.

and as well, I have a weather station at my house for current decisions of whether to leave work!

and the local marine store owner happens to live just down the road from me, and he's put up a camera from his house looking out to sea, so I also use that to be able to see the sea!
