What a morning in Karin!

I came early, before down. There was nothing in Jadrija, nothing in Benkovac, nothing aproaching Karin, and than, ONLY in the Karin bay, nice white caps, no big chop, constant 14-17 kt, without holes, but also, unfortunately, without enough strengt in gusts - maybe to 22-23 knots but not often. Anyway, it was enough for quite a speed on iSonic 111 and NP Slalom 7,8. Just for you to know - maximum speed runs were done on going back route, in front of the entrance. When there is no chop - thet is obviously the best for speed (last time Pierre had +38 kt on the same place).

The most beutiful part was constancy - I sailed cca 80 minutes, but without stoping (happy about increase in PB on one hour!) Did couple of nice aplphas, thought it will be more, but, obviously, I have to practice jibes...

And, today one more PB down - again on 500m - 31,654 kt!

The start was not promissing.The gusts were longer but with holes on the track as if there were two different winds in the same bay NNE and ENE. The RS59 Thommen and NP Excess 7,4 gave the best possible results for the rest of bora wind from yesterday. The only mistake was not going for early morning tramontana in Preluk that was not expected but prety strong (according to the words of lucky participants).

So Karin was great once again, that's good to hear. Maybe Jan is right and first day after weather change the wind is just too nervous?

1 hour is what we need this month to take lead in last hours of the month

For now, we need points in 2sec, or 1 hour, and now we have hope.

If Adi have backup today in only 13... knots of 1hour, we are the winners this month

Hope someone will sail today.... :)

Karin has it secrets, for sure. Frist day bura is in most cases nervous. Also, this morning buras are nice - Aladnin was green, but it is at least third time that this year that I had great day with no or low wind forecast in Karin!

@Odin: Yea, this would be great. I bet that you would repeat +38 kt today with 90 liters and 7,0!

great results adi, seems karin has some real potential. i have to check it out...

i sailed today on morning bora here in medulin, nice 6.8 m2 wind, unfortunately i forgot my gps at home... so no posts from me today, sorry aeoulus guys :(
