Last minute dash to Burrum Heads to chase the nautical mile record.

Tr-6 6.3m, CA SP53 & 25 Caspar

Tight course and not as windy as hoped but stoked to get a few PB's.

Way to go Brad! Well done on the amazing speeds. This really puts Burrum Heads on the map as a speed spot. What was the wind strength and direction?

B-rad

QLD

Thanks everyone for all the great comments. Cool

Peter the wind was SSE @ 20 to 25Knts which makes for a pretty square course. I think the wind needs to be a little more in the east to get better peak & 10sec speeds. Though the SSE direction does make it easy to sail back up the course for multiple attempts.

All good fun & sure beats working. Looking forward to the next blow.

Super efficent in that breezeTongue out, being able to sail back up wind is alot more enjoyable( fark walking, tacking back up wind, especially there, long enough walk as it is).
