IRL250 (546km):
4892 days ago A few of the lads came over from Cork as there was no wind there so we decided to meet up in Ventry, near to Dingle in Kerry. As i turned out this was a good decision as this was the spot with the most wind in the local area. All the lads rigged up big sails and Slalom boards but i decided to go out on my Starboard Phantom and try my 2011 9.5m KA Koncept which i haven't had the oportunity to do till now.
The KA Koncept when powered up works very well on the Phantom, providing loads of power on all points of sail and goes upwind pretty well and feels awsome off the wind. When i find similar conditions in the UKWA events i will definitely be pulling this out of the quiver bag and it will be a good changedown sail from my 10.5m Demon VG5 in planing conditions
