4855 days ago Good to be on the water again after 6 weeks no TOW.... Nice day, with very gusty winds. I was aiming for NM, Alpha and distance, but to the gusty nature of the wind, no luck. Did on fantastic NM run, but had a massive spinout on about 1650 meters.....

4855 days ago Black day in my windsurf carrier. Today I had my first real accident. A German surfer was downwind from me and I didn’t see him. I hit him with plus 60. Lucky both of us didn’t get hurt and we had both some material damage. But I still don’t understand where he was coming from, I really thought that I checked if the direction for my run was clear. A broken boom at my side and some little board damage at his side was all. But it scared me a lot that I didn’t see him.
For the rest I had a great session. The wind direction and force was almost perfect for a great chop session. I never been so fast over the chop. Hopefully next time better and then without damage.

4855 days ago Trim was terrible with the Talon 36cm (run 4 and 5) had to be very carefull not to spin-out which makes for a exhausting ride, decided to late and go back for a snack to change the fin after i changed had a lot of fun in the chop thanks Menno and Jeroen for a nice afternoon!
Another 48km+ Nautical nice!

4855 days ago Very, very nice weather: sun, clouds, wind, everything what you need for a good windsurf session.
I chose the 6.2 and gave it a bit too much downhaul. This made the sail feel very light, but it lacked some power downwind. But who cares? It was nice to be at de Punt with friends and not too much others;-)

4847 days ago 1 categories  First session of holiday. To bad the center put North masts in NP sails. Target for the holiday was to get 30kn avg on this spot with this gear.....got it.
Most of the time sailed on this gear. Sometimes had to change to the Bump&Jump gear, Freestyle/wave, due to the hard wind and really choppy water.Â
Nevertheless had a great holiday with the mrs....could sail 7 out of 8 days..... now it's time again for some real speedsession.
