Herby went down to dam at 10am but I didn,t get there till about noon.    .We had lunch and Herby rigged my 6.6m Loft 02 but I wasn't sure if I would bother, when suddenly he was going so I carried down.     Stood in water for 10 minutes and then carried back up.      Then he was going again so I carried again and launched.    A lot of standing up on the Fatboy but really enjoyed the session.

Got to the dam about 10.30 am just in time to see Hans launching into good wind.    By the time I had rigged the wind had just about gone but I went out and picked up a good gust and then mostly dogged around till I had traversed all of 4 km.        Got out and had lunch and sat around then decided to go out no matter what.      Started to get a few runs and then Lyn came out and we both had a good time for a while.

Used the Loft 02 7.4m and the 120l S/cross.

KA72 - Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Caught up with Hoppy, Freddo, Billy and Pete so all good. Wind was very gusty in shore and hammering off shore, was a wild ride with dinner plate eye balls, felt like I was flying and going alot faster than I was, oh well. Gave it away after I hit something going for a Nm, stopped in an instant and ended in a little pain, don't have a clue what I hit as it was under water but no damage so all good Smile Off to nightshift, bugger.

I'm expecting big things from the Green Island crew.

Another Great Day at the Island, was expecting a bit more wind but it never quite built up to the forecasted strength. The tide was almost as good as friday with only 0.2 movement all day.

Used 7.3 Switchblade with the Ca 50 with Slingshot 21 and Isonic 96(Now dead with the whole bottom delaminated Frown) and venom 34.

Did 2 runs and my 16 year old ally boom broke, gybed and was able to sail back to the beach. Bloody aluminium booms, I'll never buy another one when you only get 16 years out of them.Laughing

iS122, 7.8 Loft Blade, 44 Talon - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU Wind 10 - 19knots

Nice to get out after such a long break.  Bit of a slog for the first 40mins but then as forecasted the wind kicked in nicely albeit on dark.  Got some lovely powered up runs but unfortunately spun out half way through my nautical mile and just ended up washing too much speed off correcting it.  Winter fitness (or lack there of) let me down (too many beers and not enough sailing). Embarassed

Good to see you got out Snags. Been watching the wind over there and the last month must have been killing you.

Still a good nm for Yeppoon. We have it easy over here compared to the slop you sail through. Can never understand how you go so fast through that crap.

Cheers, Grumps

Well done on the Pb Jason, you're doing real well Cool

Great team turnout with a fair bit of Queensland covered, good to see Mr Snags & Pete back on the water and Cam's the man again (still). A few close numbers to me Freddo Cool

Hey Kel the bamboo and rice filler must have given way. Just wack the straps on the team spare till you get a replacement, it goes better than it really should, it has a few beach 30's under it's hood.
