Slalom practice on the big gear with Dave & Leo until storm hit. Leo & myself got caught out when the wind switched offshore manged to make it into the shallows near the rock wall for shelter during the worst of it. 60+ knt gusts recorded @ the coast guard & heavy rain. Yacht Blackjack ended up on the rock wall trying to get in harbour during the storm & 3 others were blown onto the mud flats trying to return to the harbour after WAGS.
Leo tried to make a dash for it before the worst of the storm & managed to get gear up the rocks & sail derigged unfortunatley the board got picked up by a huge gust & flew about 10m high before cartwheeling along rock wall completely destorying it.
