Got there early, 9.30, and wind was 15-18 gusting up to 22k WSW.Looked good, but should have rigged the6.5, like I supposed to! Ended up with a 6.0 GTX with the Hawk LTD.and Finworks 11.5 for about 1 hours worth, before it all went ordinary.

Sailed with a big crew this time surprisingly. At least 8 others aside from Chris and myself.Nice quick session with a couple of good flat water runs down the channel.

Sailed with Steve,Raf & Phil.

Rigged up at about 10.30am. Was gusting over 20 knots. Went out did one run & wind died!! Cry Sailed around for a few hours & had to go in and change boards. Was under powered using the 6.7m. Wind swinging all the time and up & down. More down than up!

Forecast nothing like they said it would be. Very Disappointed! Very hard to sail the 101 in these conditions.

I-Sonic 101 & 122 , 6.7m VMG, JP 31 & 36 Weed fins.

Sailed with Steve and MarkH, had a pretty good time even though wind was gusty, decided to put up the 7.5 instead of the 6.5...thank goodness I did. Better session for me than last weekend, slower speeds but more comfortable and everything working nicely. Mark and Steve snuck in earlier to get the better westerly. Phil and I launched and it swung SW/SSW and lost some stick. Weed not too bad and the GT31 didn't switch off!

Well-Done Raf on your PB's!

Wish I had my 7.5m sail or better my 8.3m up!

Hey Guys, wasn't that a dud forecast!!I knew it was going to be windy early, but talk about a flash in the pan! Most others that turned up and didn't get out early enough got stuff all.

Chris was a bit disappointed too. Her GPS froze up on the speed page and we couldn't turn it off. I thought it may have gotten water inside and would have to flatten the battery to re-boot, or worse. It turns out that if you hold down the toggle too long, it locks the buttons!!No functions. I didn't know that. Anyway, the drive home with the unit on clocked 57knots in the van, so her session was spoiled. Pity.On Realspeed, the data showed a 25k 2 sec. speed. Some consolation on a dissapointing day.

SHOOT the Meteorologist that gave that forecast!!

Hi Gabe,

I will pay for the Bullets to shoot the Meteorologist's! WHAT A BIG DISSAPOINTMENT!!!!!!! I went with the forecast and went out on small gear. Never trust those guys again!

You can post Chris's session manually. Cut the drive home out of it with realspeed then post the results manually. Ben knows how to do it. Does Aaron know how to do his posts?

Yeah, We expected more, but I think most of the wind blew through earlier that night and was conking out by mid to late morning.Next time for sure!!

Thanks for that info on real speed. I'll give it a go.I'm meeting up with Aaron soon to talk about that.
