Day 5 and the 4th sail. Only a light nor wester but better than nothing. Wind was very gusty and only got to maybe 20 knots tops. Good to see the crew from FNQ turn up and a late cameo by Daffy. I'm sure he loved his 1 planing run of the day

Quite a patchy W/NW run and when the tide dropped to expose the bank, the wind dropped too. Pretty underpowewed for most of the day - still, it was a glorious warm sunny day!

4438 days ago Totally underpowered, looked promising and rigged badly. Nice conditions, warm and sunny but wind just kept disappearing. Limped back a few times, got a couple of runs but hey, it was a nice day but frustrating. Shouldve been on a 7.0 or 7.8. **** happens

Beautiful NW. Had the Falcon 79, Caspar 29 and a NP 5.5 up. Lots of gusty winds. Picked up some good speeds down the strip.

4438 days ago 1 categories Underpowered on a 6.4 in a moderate NW sailing up the Yanakie channel hoping for more wind to come through but it never did. Sun was out, water was nice just needed a bit more wind.

Awesome sail with local legends Gabe, Chris, Peter and the extended crew from up here. Probably the flattest water I've seen on Wallis lake(secret spot Booti Booti Point). The wind never quite kicked in as we other wise had hoped it would, but still nicely powered up runs playing with from some nice little ramps out the back, to super smooth shallower water in close to the lake shore. If it comes in as is predicted this arvo and with a similar tide, should be real fun! Might be a little late for the Hawksnest rendezvous tonight!
