6.5M T4, 94Lt Exocet & FW Weedie

I don't ordinarily wake up properly until after my second caffeine shot but this morning was different.

Consequently, not thinking straight,  I rigged too big (7M to start with). On the water at Majestic by 7am. I was sailing with the brakes on the whole time & not having fun so thought I would rig the 6M - Nelson tells me it's not in the van (maybe we need to buy a more spacious van ). Never mind, soldier on I must.

I rigged the 6.5M, lifted my skirt, found some balls & went for it (I knew time was limited). I was still very overpowered but had a fairly good sail.

Exocet Cross 104 with 7.5M T-bird & 38 Vector

Overpowered in the gusts so grabbed the 7.0M T-bird

Could have got away with a 6.5M & a smaller board as the wind was building & the lumps were getting bigger

Nursed a broken harness line on Port tack for the whole session, the PVC tube held up pretty well

Pity some of us have to go to work

great for the first half hour then the wind picked up. Rigged down to a 4.9 but still overpowered and the chop was pretty big. Hoping to get out again this afternoon.
