Allan Gleeson (541km): Narrabeen Lake, NSW, AU Exocet speed board, 6.3 Maui Sails TR6 Fairly good session for the lake, still inconsistent but good to sail with Grant and Wysie. I hope the cuts and scratches are ok nothing a couple of beers won't heal Grant | ||||||||||||||||||

Roar (11958km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU 118 supersport, 7.8 mk IV slalom, 46 fin. Got out at 11 am - 2 pm before going to work . wind was a nice 15 knots at 11 and kept building until around 2 i was fully lit and then some. The 7.8 is so well behaved even in the big gusts. Once that sail is locked into the rake back position it is super stable It really pushed the board to its limit today but that being said i was always in control. only dropped 1 gybe the whole day. towards the end around 2 with wind 20-25 knots the board and chop were the limiting factor.

Larko (11468km): Narrabeen Lake, NSW, AU Smokin fun day. Sweet early nor-easter and wind was in early. Really nice to be powered instead of just a lucky gust. fairly consistently windy at first and really enjoyed getting out on for me a small board and just fanging around for awhile. Also nice to be on a sail smaller than a 7.0, powered at times. Some nice corners in the flat section after a bear away and cranking back upwind. Great to sail with Al and wysey after being out by myself for awhile. As usual I hurt myself after hitting a barnacle covered log and lacerating both feet and one leg, claret flowing and Betadine bath tonight. Falcon 99, 6.4 Evo IV 4, Talon 36. |
