Lake George. SA.

Got there late with a van full of Spotty and Spottys gear. Undecided

Wind 20-24kts at 4.00pm Not really cranking. Decided to test fins and boards. Not fast enough for me to try for 1 hr. Tried Vector 19 speed weed and it felt very good in the IS50.

Tried MXR UFO 16cm assy in CA40 Also felt great. Surprised how well it went upwind on the wrong tack. Very solid on the downwind. Only let go a couple of times on the upwind when I bounced out of the water over the big chop in the bare patch. Easy to chatch and pull back in. Put max pressure on it downwind and just seemed to go faster. Conclusion: Great for flat water!! Need more wind to see what it can do.

Sail: 2013 5.4m KA Koncept.

Lots of guys going very fast on largish gear given the very moderate wind!
