Rallied the troops early in the morning - never miss an opportunity. By "The Troops" I really mean that I placed a call into the Burke household to see what was going on. Seemed to be plenty of wind around the house so times were agreed to and set. On arrival at the local washing machine training circuit, Freddy and Tony were in the process of setting up their elected rides. 10-12 knots max on the beach but way out in the distance you could just see the faint hint of a wind line. That faint hint took 30 odd minutes to get too - almost at the point of turning around and heading back home. Had Fred following me and all of a sudden young Serge came up out of the blue - good to see.
Finally hit the wind line and the cruising started - 13-15 knots, with typical Hollaways dependancy. Up and down like a set of you know whats....still, was nice to be cruising out wide. Breeze was very southerly to start and then switched to more of a SE direction which made it easier to make it back to shore. Limited time on the water as the breeze tends to get a bit ratty after 3pm. Managed to make it back from 12.5k's out with only two swims due to the wind fading out. Still, when it did blow, with minimium down haul applied, was reasonably lit up for a good portion of the session.
Great to be out on the water. Firie Bob, thanks for the photos mate and good to see your enjoying life again.

Showed my mate Andrew some more of my bad habits so he went home happy..There are worse things i could of done on a sunday arvo..Like push mower.cheers.Ed ..117 lt 'Isonic Duck' 7.3m S type North Sail 44Drake Fin'....

Wasn't sure we would get a sail in but went out for a gas bag at least!
Tony had set up by the time I had arrived but was not sure if there was going to be any wind .... we decided we would
give it a go and I was setting up as Billy arrived. Funny thing was that both were on the water before me.
Wind was pretty ordinary and took quite a while to get out to where we could plane. After the fisrt run I was not sure
how long the wind was going to last so decided to come back in. That was a struggle...should have stayed out with Billy.
