Burrum Heads, QLD, AU

Arrived 9am today and waited for the wind. The trough has kept things pretty flat and wet over this way. By 11am the wind seemed to break through. I managed to work my way up to the sand bar in low winds. However once I got there the wind came up. It was a good couple of hours blasting behind the sand bars with Geoff, Daryl & Greg. Eventually the tide started its much back in and the wind started to back off. I probably couldnt have hung on for much longer anyway ;-) With fingers crossed and the usual windsurfers optimism the rain will clear allowing for a good session tomorrow. In the mean time off to the pub to catch up with Greg.

  • Board - 100L JP Super Sport (a bit heavy really)
  • Sail - Ezzy Lion 6.5
  • Fin - Select S07, 35cm
  • Accomodation - Burrum Sands Motel

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU.....Well at last the dam turned a thermal N/Easter.       Very light to start but picked up as the arvo went on.     Used 7.0m NCX and  130l JP Slalom.     Just me and the Ghost.   Cool/Innocent

Edit....Got me over the 14,000k mark......15 seems a long way away.

Well Done on the 14K mark Herby. You've probably already done another 28,000 pre GPS anyway!
