Het leekt een beetje in het water te vallen, tot om 12:45 toch de wind opkwam vanuit de juiste richting. Nog tot 14u kunnen speren en dan naar huis. 

Toch 90km dus niets te klagen!

Nice day at Zonnemaire with couple of buddies. On the water with 7.0 and slalom 90 with I-fins Nano under the board; What a great fin to sail, lots of control, nice acceleration and topspeed is not bad but I have the feeling the board has its limits for some reason.
Gybing is so easy with this combo, great!

Later on Hansie joined us. I did a few more runs on the speed 50 and 6.3 but inside the wind was not steady and not hard enough to get higher speeds.

Like my hour wich was not my intension but not my record either.

vond het zeer rare condieties  vandaag   zeer on of  soms harde vlagen  somsgroote windgaten

de 112 was debest keuzze  om overal door t knallen  en dam datbordje gaat zo vlot ove de chop    was moeilijk de goed vlaagt pakken    mede door hetvele volk aanwezig    maar vooral

door de wind    ook de richting  was nietgoed en draaide 

maar het zonetje en het goede gezelschap maaken veel goed

tog mooi100 km op de teller  in deze slecht omstandigheden   dus my happy 

 

Day two in France.

Yesterday no surf because of very light onshore wind when I arrived, so did some shopping. I met this great guy, Roberto (two times world champion formula) Hofman. We made plans to sail together today @the pump.

First I used the Mistral 55 and 6,3. the wind picked up and it was time to take a smaller board, but in these conditions I wanted to make another run. It ended in the air, with a Mistral that is very well capable of flying <img alt=
