Dragged my sorry ass out of bed before 'day break' so i could do a days work and still get to the beach for happy hr, 3 till 6 oclock, As i knew a epic session was there to be had..New 97 lt Isonic was lit up all arvo on burnt out 6.6m North rig cranked down to the max and 36cm fin..  Had a very solid 20kts with a good few kts more out in the big pool.Had one of the best sails i have had for a while..Fully powered up all arvo and happy in a chopped up sea. kind of made up for a crap weekend of sailing. The more i sail new Isonic the more i am impressed with it.. Clocked up the usual 70 to 80 km and i think speed was ok too as i let loose on a few down winders trying to dodge the worst of the choppy sea and angry waves out the back..Dropped a couple of gybes late in the second half as i was running low on fuel..Got water in GPS and now it is' totaly rooted '..So thats the end of that...
Andrew came out in the second half and did some hot laps and went home shagged but happy...Good to see so many boards on the water for a monday...Cheers Ed
