Wasn't planning on a sail, but the stinking hot day generated a reasonable Northerly mid afternoon. Water crystal clear and fairly flat... stingrays everywhere. Very gusty slog out for the first 500m then pump like crazy and point as hard as you can to make it back without the long walk. Hard work but not a bad little sail. CA SL70 Ezzy 7.5. One of those days when an 8.5 would have made the difference.

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU

A sensational afternoon at Tinaroo with the two mountain men - Jimmy Drinnen and Ian Bally. Started with 12-14 kts with some stronger bullets coming through Fong On Bay. Slight drop in breeze when a passing storm cell shaved us to the north west with the sting being taken out of the sun, but otherwise it was reasonable sailing right through to stumps at 1600hrs. 

Really enjoyed riding on the tails of Jimmy and Ian. Was really pleasant to actually spend the session with the lads, enjoying the sailing. Calling it..but it was definatley a Top 10 Day on the mountain. Beers & Chippies whilst packing up were sensational.

Used 125 AHD Diamond, 49 S10, 8.2 Diablo.

Longboard...not much wind (10-12knots) but nice travelling on Severne 9.5 and Exocet 380!! Long beat upwind to Pallarenda
