Strange wind today. Nothing at Booti, but windy at Green Point and Coomba. Looked like a bit of East in the wind, but mostly NE at 12-20k, maybe more at the launch spot.
Good to see Andre out for a run today joining us old codgers Pete, Rob and Gary with Pete H in tow. Pleasant enough but could have used a bit more wind at the far end or perhaps a bigger rig. 93,10.5,6.6

Very nice to be back on the water and catching up with the crew (Rob, Pete and Gabe) was just great. Was a bit weary of my lack of windsurf "fittness" but in the end it was all good. I sailed most of the time on the eastern side of Piper's Bay. Wind was stronger but the conditions were much choppier than on the western end. No Smooth water there. So no speed record for me especially as I was using my bigger board. Amazing the difference in wind strength between one end of the bay and the other . Most likely due to the unobstructed path leading to the Eastern end compare to the Western end which is facing Forster itself. Anyway , was very glad to have put in a solid effort and hope to be back very soon. Rob, you are a champ with this positing given you are still going over your operation. Very well done to you.
