Trousers (14352km): le'Bog. 18kt S-ly with holes. i97/7.0OD/BPR375 Felt fast today but peaks beg to differ. But not complaining; a super fun session. I popped a cam in top corner 15mins in. I trudged around reed beds until I found a grassy knoll to fix stuff up. A bit more nip and tuck around the rig, and back out. It immediately felt sweet. I powered out of so many gybes in a row, I suspected a respectable hour. Poor injured Leon had to watch, but Stotty, Geoff, Christian and Dave all fronted. ChrisD and I had some good drags, PJ sailed relentlessly, and our Captain was in very fine form. An ace day.
Captain bogan (50690km): Fun arvo at Boggy on big kit. Hard work in very gusty conditions so body feels a bit second hand tonight. Big turnout and happy the wind co-operated looked a bit dodgy at one point. Great fun up the top with Trousers, PJ and Chris D all cranking along nicely . Patrik 115 / 7.1m Gun sails GSR / Black Project RS40. Boggy lake - 13 to 18 knots.
Jack Bogan (3737km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU First sail on the newly aquired Patrik 115. Went out way too early and coundn't find any wind. Eventually found a few gust and very happy with the board. Should have waited until it picked up and gone over to the smooth . When the wind did crank up I was way over powered. Didn't have time to rig down to the 6.3 so pluged in the 92 and had a few runs in the rough in the middleand then called it quits. Not a fast day but a very enjoyable one.
