A nice cruizy day to work out the kinks form the day before. Took a trip down to the spit but there was a Duck Hunter on the tip so I didn't do more than one pass. I think I stirred a few birds up and sent them his way though.
There was an interesting large patch of glassy smooth water right over in the top NE corner of the Big Lake. The wind seemed stronger there too so it might be worth a trip back for another look. Ezza followed me over there but I think he was a bit too far downwind to sail across it? On the trackmap, it is most of the whiter area where I turned to caome back.
Happy with the Alpha on this combo.
I took a lone down the middle of the lake where we got out PB Alphas back in 2012-2013. There is weed on the bottom almost all the way, but it is 2 foot below the surface and ther is 1 foot chop for a lot of it now. Hoping it grows during the year, and perhaps if the water lever is low next year it will be ON again! In spite of that it was my best Nautie of the day.
