Failed to get a speed board going early and had some sail problems with the cams slipping off the mast. didnt take long for me to changed gear and went to the 80,5.8,27. Had a couple a good runs down the bank but it was pretty dangerous with all the kites (Had to completely bail on one run as the kite turned up at me..scary) and the wind direction wasnt really ideal (W and WNW). But still fun and Im still in one piece. :).

Sailed with Neale, Slim, Sue, 3 other guys I didn't meet and Ash out downwind suping. Busiest day I have seen at Ballina. Its a bit of a playground in a westerly and incoming tide. So easy to point, some nice standing ramps, clear water, just a shame the westerlies tend to come through in pulses. Get a few runs in, then dredge a couple, then blasting again.
