Tricky Bogan (21904km): I had a plan & the plan didnt happen. Waited for the wind to fill in & do an hour. So when the wind started to kick in I rigged the 5.6 Loft RB on the Isonic 87 , CWWS25 headded down to the bottom of the lake & was nicely powered after 30m the wind faded a bit but I had a great first half kept going & ended up in kevs bay battling to get on the plane on the long upwind slog back to the 5mile. Lots out & rezquanted with faces & I will have trouble puting the names to again. Great day on the water with fellow speed sailors | ||||||||||||||||||
mikewho (2720km): Lake George, SA, AU, did a fun day today at spit, learning to gybe, by the crash and burn method , saw glen big stack, just about to give up, bob friend gybe around me , watched him, saw how low bent he was and committed, then made 9 in a row, and hit the bottom on 10th, hey but pb, and hence distance pb. now to do it at boggy, it will save a lot of wasted energy waterstarting, home tomorrow great to be with bogans old crew, and bob and michael also in the70`s |
