Westerly madness. Started off with too big a sail. The lee side of the sandbank was cranking on flat water too, but I could barely hold on with the Naish SL5.8m2. Other guys had sevens and looked as though they were struggling too.. After crossing to the lumpy side of the bank, I realised it was time to change down a size or two.

Re-launched on the lumpy side with "The Aerotech" 4.5m2 and felt very comfortable. Like this 23yo sail. However, the GPS unit decided to play silly buggers, resulting in no data recorded for the second session.
