Shared LG with Jimbob today, and some others, fun watching him rig a variety of sails, not seen that before, and losing a mast-(rip), finally he got away on a third or fourth sailanyway. I thought a 5.8 would be fine. At 1030am. Decided 5m Koncept would be adequte. Which board and fin, the lake is gettin a little shallower over a few fav speed run spots. So 92L with 25cm weedweapon?
luverly numbers, but not as good as it felt though, skating across LG today. Only one sail, spent a little time on the 92L isonic, 1130 to just after midday, lunched, thought about the speed board, yep, waqlked twice as far but got thr right fin and then the right mast base in place, rerigged once, more download as was 20 to 30+knots warmish northerly,, then onto the JP 65l speedy with a Kestrel 16.
Surprised myself, only a coupla spinouts with both fins- spot it if you can, but Sitting Down in the harness really helped today, zephyr bullets? Ha! Today, I just kept the nose to the grindstone and hammered across the lake. Day spoilt by stubbed toe ah. And thinking one of the devices recorded a 36knot pk- wrong..
.
There was extra waypoints in the lake south of little island, dead roo, great to aim for!
ended up with two files off the motion, easy to compare the boards that way, and the wind was probably up for the Isonic slalom, definitly not so great for the JPS speedboard, after, but so, good day out. BTW wind at the caravan park horrendous, tent may not make it thru the night!
