Holloways Beach, QLD, AU Nice little arvo sesh off the mudpit, albeit in very Southerly shifty on/off gusty wind!
Sailed with Tony the "Truckie" for the first 45mins or so before wind dropped to dredging conditions just after the turn of the tide. Tony decided to call it a day then as he'd been out for an hour or so before I got out on the water. I too went in, but only for a quick repair on my "well used" sail after noticing a small (wear &) tear in the bottom panel...
Wind picked back up enough for me to get back out on the water (doesn't take much!), but still very Southerly, so I decided to stay in closer and practice the u-turns.
Ended up being all good fun in the sun in boardies of course! Looks like it might be much better tomoz, but we'll have to brave the Ironman traffic!
Managed to snag some "State of Origin" tickets in Brownsville for Wednesday- QUEENSLANDER!!! Yeeehaaaa, looking forward to the mid week mini holiday!
Used the Jag 125, Severne 8.6 M2, Venom 48
