Quick blast between showers working with the last of the tide. Arriving to 15 knots, rigged the 7.5 and WT SB72 expecting the breeze to drop out and didn't want to swim home. Instead the breeze continued to climb closer to 20knts making it a fair handful with a heap of ramps making it a battle to keep the power down. Came in and maxxed out downhaul and tweaked the rig and was a bit more controllable, but would have beennicer with the fox and 6.5. Water was brown and made it hard to pick depth, so I ended up hitting bottom and catapulting hard onto the mast giving a nasty bruise to the ribs that made the last 10 minutes of sailing pretty painful. Nurofen and ice and it doesnt feel too bad now. A good session...Don't feel so bad about missing out on burrum.
