Inverloch, VIC, AU Two weeks after having a knee clean out the surgeon gave me a green light to go sailing. He did say that it will hurt and 4 weeks would be better. Its a windy, haven't sailed for ever, its the weekend, its low tide so I guess its time to test his work.

Wing foiled yesterday and tried to windsurf but too much pain, so I started with the wing foil then switched to the Carbon Art as the tide dropped.

Stuck to the bank as I couldn,t handle the small chop at speed and I struggled with the jibes as I couldn,t push with the knee. Kept at it trying to find a muscle work around that would reduce the strain. As the session went on it got better and I found some form and did a few speed runs off the bank into the chop. Great fun.

Not many players today which was good as the pond is getting small and shallow.
