Shane (14777km): 122 days ago 6 categories Tom was out on his foil early in 14 to 16kts S/SE for the early high tide, and was killing it! Rigged small and headed out with Vando and Troy on Wings, and Nick, we’ll be chose to Fin it and not become shark fodder. Wind was quite up and down, and nowhere near as strong as Tom’s early session. In fact, wind died right out by 1pm after a small rain squall, almost on three quarter time, not getting an hour, and remained flat after that squall. Disappointing, as it looked so hot earlier on when Tom was out. At the end, I grounded on a sandbank and dredged home with the falling tide. Anyway, experimented with clew settings and extra downhaul for this foil session. Was not as powered up as anticipated. Alien 115 / Naish 5.0m2 / 1000 Wellington Point, QLD, AU
