Wasn't going to sail today, went for a recon to Herron Point to check out the sand bank as it's been a couple years since I was down there last. Surprisingly the wind was kicking in down the estuary so decided to head to Boombas. Was too tempting wind 18-20, sun out and not a soul in site. Quick rig and a quick txt to the crew just to let them know if they don't hear from me tonight I'm stuck in Austin Bay Was going so well Austin Bay has some nice spots to send it but I felt an ominous presence so decided to head back. Sure enough the wind was dropping rapidly and the ominous presence was getting stronger as I was heading to the carpark. Sure enough my suspisions where correct, there he was the ominous presence (wind killer) Waricle rigging up. Ah well was fun while it lasted. Still it was good to have the company with Flex and Pete even though he did kill the wind.

Flex (17108km):
135 days ago Point Grey, WA, AU. One again Boz scored the wind, Waricle the wind wizzard arrived and wind dropped off. Then I arrived, still seemed enough wind for the small gear and forecast as always was supposed to boot. Went out on the floating fin despite it having cracked during load test. I fiigured would test it to destruction and record what happened. Turned out it was an anticlimax, fin worked well. Had to rig 7m and had a nice cruise around and despite best efforts to break fin it remainded intact. Another glorious cruise about in the sun. iSonic 86, KAR 7, FF22 Floater
