JP Hydro Foil 155 Sailworks 7.1 Flow 900

Same setup as yesterday except for the 900 flow.

Less breeze so didn't think I'd get going but my pumping technique must be improving as I had quite a few nice flights. The 17kn didn't feel fast with the smaller wing.

Plenty out on a nice summers afternoon

Patchy gutless 5-13kts E then few puffs over 15kts which were ok at the end  Coal Point, NSW, AU

 7.5m Turbo- WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics weedy 

 then 125ltre tabou bullit - 38cms tectonics weedy

 I started too early as usual. 

 1st hr was a waste. It looked better than it was and I took the 112ltre out. It was too patchy and I  had to work really hard to get the occasional short planing bit .

 Put the 125 on and I still had to work to get going but I got some nice long planing runs. I got the best wind at 4.30pm when I was ready to finish. well powered , and enough to do a bearaway.

I don't feel comfy with that combo. My new harness lines feel too long and I can't get them shorter plus I need to get off my backside and put the footstraps on the outer setting.

 Another winging try tomorrow. I hope it's better. At least it will be flatwater with hopefully enough wind for once.

Jimmy's beach, nsw. Lots more foil TOW to learn! Been lucky, lots of good light winds. 6.5 earlier than 7.5 to try with my brother later who was on 9.5 and formula board. He wasn't going. So i think it was very light. And i think that's that for him, to the dark side he comes now too
