Melville Beach, WA, AU. Underwhelming short session with Jay.  Managed to break a batten on the big gear and whilst attemping to fix it this morning found the entire batten pocket had disintegrated so decided to get a new sail. Unbeliveably they had the same sail in stock so got that.   Headed down and again looked like a big gear cruise session....unrolled the new sail only to find it was only a new bag that contained a well used second hand sail, covered in grass and included sail numbers.  Called the supplier to complain and by the time had sorted that out wind had booted.   So rigged the smaller stuff whilst Nauli offered helpful abuse about my gear quailty (patched sail and main batten broken in 2 places which probably justifies yet another sail purchase).    Finally got out and was nice to start but with super high tide not much flat so headed upwind to get to the flatter stuff.  Once there the wind of course died and was a chug/balance session..Bonus though, someone had thrown out a sail in the bin which included 3 perfectly good battens so grabbed them to keep the old sail going a bit longer.  iSonic 97, KAR7, TWS29
