12 days ago Coodanup, WA, AU. Forecast was good so naturally reality didn't match but lots of us suckers fell for the forecast and turned up. Arrived to find a few out rigged for the forecast having a wonderful chugfest so rigged bigger for a cruise. Could have rigged bigger still but was mainly planing...cruised around for about 80km waiting for something to happen and just after 3 wind picked up for a while but then died back to cruisy conditions..home time for me but of course wind booted big time on the way home...lots out, Vachy made the long trip and even Firie turned up, probably some big numbers for those that stuck around. iSonic97, Sv OD Proto 7, FF22 (18)

Strange day started light, so was practice to get a 52 wide board with a 5.7 going, still managed to cruise aroun. Wind did pick up but was stuck on 36s until it did boot a bit but, as you'd have it the tide went up so a bit of fun sending over teeth chattering chop. Lots out and even Stretch made the journey to Coods. Good to see the boyz and everyone else sending it.

12 days ago Coodanup, WA, AU. Fun sesh but couldn't seem to push the speeds. Doesn't matter, well worth the drive. I think I'm losing the plot, I didn't recognise Slugger, Ant or Woody on the water at first, though Ant and Woody did trick me with their new sails

What Jay said... crazy gusty even for melville. My first run was fastest, then was struggling to find much. The gusts got stronger at end of the session but they were short and violent. Best gust I got came out of nowhere and I messed up the entry- was overpowered (it was probably high 20s) and wasted it.
Stoked with the new fin. Loads of power for a short fin, with the nature of a weedspeed and none of the quirks of delta style fins. Had no problems getting upwind. My new favourite gusty wind fin for shallow water when the weed isn't thick.

Marginal when we rocked up so took our time rigging up then packed up and returned to the bay after forgetting to load the fins. Returned to much better winds but choppier conditions :/ Good to see Jaden out on his maiden sail at Coods and killing it :) powerd by the 6.2 Reflex,50 JP, 18 Delta.

Liptons on Windtech 9'8" + 7 Ezzy Lion, 24cm Stealth. Fun session but a little lonesome. Only a few kiters to keep me company. Maybe will try Coods again next time forecast looks good.
