Albany, WA, AU Was going to sail Shoal bay again but Aquaman suggested we try Lilacs in the SW.  Dial was reading 12-15 so out with the big guns. Aquaman did the procrastination dance and waited to see how I did.  What followed was the most sublime windsurf ever, wind booted 15-18kt in perfect direction up/down the NM run in beautiful sun.  Was complete glass off with hundreds of large fish torpedoing around which clearly visible in the crystal clear waters which you don't see normally with the small chop.  As total glass no noise and effortless runs all above 28kts.Kicking myself for not taking the cameras out as many would not believe but knew it would be all over if went back to get them.   Aquaman launched and it turned to shit, wind shifted southerly,  cloudy, rainy, tide rose quickly so no glass and intermittant wind.   Did a few more runs but got cold as I was just in boardies so came in to put the wind jacket on when the poodle came for a chat.  Out again and cruised around a bit but the magic had gone so called it.  Aquaman keenly persevered for but didn't look like fun.  iSonic117, SvT8.6, FF18V4

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Was going to head to Cerventes but the old jollopy decided to throw all the warning light on so settled for Melville, might head up tomoz but will see if my trusty mechanic can do his magic first. Looked windy when I was rigging hencee the 5.7 but as normally happens wind was fickle,  should have rigged the 6.3.

Pelican Point, WA, AU

Dusted off the Windtech 64 and went to Peli for a blast, cos I'm planning to use the 64 at Cervantes tomorrow and I haven't ridden it in ages.

Breeze looked fluffy, so I rigged a 7.8 M3 and plugged in the 33 Tribal weedy.

Had a great sesh.  The 7.8 provided plenty of juice and I had a fun blast.  High tide, so no flat water which limited the speed, but plenty of pressure for crosswind blasting.

Enjoyed getting the gear dialled in again, tomorrow should be fun Smile

And first post for the WA Speed Team, looking forward to plenty more Cool
