Was glass to start but little wind, just enough puff to get planing. Wind picked up as did the tide but felt underdone the whole time. Day after the slalom. Awesome sail in spectacular water. 7m Apache, 135 radix, 40cm mk2. Did a demo day, was heaps of fun. Stayed on the big gear to start with and had a ball. Sending it through the clear blue in hover mode. Water seemed flatter than in the slalom. Changed down to 110 and was going nuts off the wind in full adrenaline mode for a while,,, until my harness bar snapped out near the island and had to sail back without a harness in 25kts+ on a 7m... that wasn;t so fun. I should ask for a warranty... its only 30 years old.
