9th and last session for this year. Heading home tomorrow. Rigged hoping the wind would increase to 20+. It did some of the time. I put my knee through the bottom panel of the sail after running a ground during a gybe. Could still sail but performance significantly effected, so headed home before the sail disintegrated.
Learnt latter that Michael cut his shin to the bone on the back of his fin. The Spit crew went into rescue mode, I believe Tim Sellers bandaging himup and Tone drove him back to Cockies. Well done and thankyou for the help. Tony has taken Michael to Millicent Hospital for treatment.

Was having a great sail until a gybe went horribly wrong and gashed my shin open and ended up at hospital. A big thanks to Tim and the St George crew for getting me out the water and bandaged up, thanks to Tone for the trip back to cockies and Tony Dingle for the lift to hospital.
