Melville Beach, WA, AU. Glorious cruise in the sun with Jay.   Was flat as so risked the big gear and small fin.  Worked a treat.   Last run of the day scored a lucky gust, just started bearing away and accelerating nicely, felt like a 30kt run.  You can imagine my surprise when the board stopped dead on the sandbar and I catapulted.  Landed with the thigh on the mast.  Figured was playing Russian Roulette and the thigh throbbing nicely so called it.  Checked the water depth where aurgered in and was about 6cm.  Weird as was over near the far edge of sandbar and had made it over upwind just a few meters away and been sending in super close to location as well.  Got back to base just as Darryl launched...he looked like on a full on chug mission way to the other side of river.... Jay offered a beer, man, that hit the spot.  Thanks Jay.   ....gonna need a few more tonight me thinks.  iSonic117, SvT8.6, FF18
