Rocko

Nice sesh, albeit the wind was a bit patchy, and I was a bit underdone on the Hydro 85 + 560 SLR + 7.0 combo.

Happy with the speeds, given the gutless wind, and the SLR 560 wing is a lovely bit of kit...very stable.

Melville Beach, WA, AU. Another case of exceptionly bad timing.  Arrived to Boz and others doing mega chug fest so rigged the big stuff.  Once rigged was nice 18-20kts so derigged and went smaller.  Of course as soon as rigged was 4kts again.  Went out and was classic dogs breakfast Melville, unlike aging wine getting better with time, the more I sail here its more like aging milk..getting sour and chunky....probably character building but not that much fun.  The odd gust with lots of putting around.  Built as much character as I could stand and gave up.  Of course, rigged down and wind came back to nice steady 17-20 then turned green later on.    This is why we travel further in search of better breeze.    iSonic97, 7mSvR8, 29TWS

Coodanup, WA, AU

Wow that felt good flying over the chop with the bigger fin :) Saw the front approaching and managed to rig and boot up just as it hit. Stoked Richo scored some power, just needed that bigger fin on the 52 ;)  Well powerd by the 7.0 SCR,53 Rapid,29 ws.

Coodanup, WA, AU Ok so that had a bit of everything. As most of those at Coods today have said it was a chug fest with a few gusts that kept you on da water in hope. I got lucky on one gust to score a 32.8 2sec and was thinking that I’d take that and pack up like most but Ant arrived and after about 25 mins of chit chat the wind started to pick up slowly and on da horizon a front was coming so I headed out in hope. After 2 runs I look on the shore and couldn’t see Ant so guessed he’d gone home, nxt run in with the wind now 20knts I see Ant jumping on his board and speeding past me in the other direction, talk about perfect timing by da young man 😃. I was on the 98 Av and27 WS and had the 88 on da grass with a 22 speed delta ready to go but in the chop it was way under done but I was too lazy to change it so off I went. By then 25 knt wind and big chop made it a survival sail and a great adrenaline rush. Decided to come in as wasn’t getting great speeds and I value my body in its sorry state. Ant was flying over da chop on his speed board and larger fin and got the cherries for the top speed. Well we wanted power and we certainly got it. Great sailing with all da like minded people and with my buddy Ant in some power 😎👍🤙
