Trojan (8467km):  Mackay, QLD, AU 105 Fox, 6.5 Ezzy. First time on the water after the big rains and first time sailing after partly finished rehab of the month old shoulder injury. 18-20knts and chop while rigging. Ended up gusty 20+ which was not exactly what I had in mind as a shakedown run. The sandbars have all changed so the only thing resembling flat water was very deep between wave lines. Had to pack it in when a 25+ rain squall come through and nearly blew me off the water. Good fun, and happy with the very sketchy 2s speed. Hopefully gave you some backup Richo. Boyne River has been on fire. | ||||||||||||||||||
Richo (11509km):  Boyne Island, QLD, AU Falcon 67W, 6.2 Koncept, 29TWS Some wind arrived just before the turn of the tide. Nice ripply runs for a little while. Much more enjoyable to sail with the 6.2 instead of the 7. | ||||||||||||||||||
