Le Morne, MU

First day in Le Morne, Mauritius. Warming up for a 6 day clinic with Jem Hall next Monday. Tested out a couple of hire boards in prep for the clinic - firstly a Fanatic Blast 115L + 6.6m Duotone sail, Arvo session I switched to a Fanatic Gecko 110L. Preferred the Gecko and seemed a bit more forgiving in the chop and conditions over here.  I'm here with Adam Easter from Mid Coast Marauders in Port Macquarie, NSW. Great spot with a magic backdrop of Le Morne Brabante as the tradewind swings past the southwest point of the island. Beautiful clear turquise waters with a few bombies to watch out for. Looking forward to some stronger winds early next week. Today was fairly gentle with about 15-18kts and came in a bit unexpectedly. More to come. Hope the Perth crew get a bit of wind to back me up occasionally.
