sboardcrazy (27409km): ![]() 3-12kts E patch 12-14kts Coal Point, NSW, AU 7.2m Moto - 125ltre Tabou Bullit - 38cms tectonics weed demon Well I wasn't very keen but Andrew was going winging so I rigged. It was patchy but gusting to 18kts as I rigged so I got the 112ltre board ready and 7.2m. It died off by the time I was ready. I don't usually use the 7.2m on the bigboard.. I needed the 7.5m but I was too lazy to rerig and I didn't trust it not to come in again ( it didn't). Not enough although the beginners board glides nicely so it was pleasant. Got going once over at the sand islands. I'm getting too old to uphaul in slop. It really died at the end and I wobbled home. Nice to get out at Coal againand a good way to cool off on a 35 degree day. Managed to skirt around a BIG thunderstorm on the way home . Phew.

Pretty good fun for what seemed like an average start to the wind. Good to have some company with Berowne turning up. Later mobdog came out and said there was lightening behind my head, and that was that. Only one gybe today. Better than none. Much harder here than up the lake, perhaps because I'm not really in clean wind down this end.
Kev (1938km): ![]() Legges Camp, NSW, AU E 0-16knots then NE up to 15knots. Mikes Lab Formula Board, Neil Pryde 8.2m V8, Axis 1099 Up for the week. Didn't go out Monday. Watched Berowne do 30knots on his new gear. Planned to do a big day but conditions not right. Went out at 11am and dogged for 45 minutes until the wind came in from the East Angles were right to run down past Mungo and get back Ok. 2.5 to 3km runs. PB on the nautical mile. The runs were long with plenty of power but plenty of waves. First session is the long runs. Came back for a rest stop and the wind just died. No one else made it out. Second session was from NE picking up as it went. Took off straight away from the beach and went for an hour until it died again with the storms. Shorter runs across the top of the bay in flat water. Plenty of boards out then and found myself looking around more. 3 good stacks from pushing too hard for my ability and looking behind. Tail came out of the water a few times with varying results. Didn't seem to do much different overall but speeds were better. No salt here so less flotation but less drag. Must be faster water. Out with Ian, Glen, Leanne and Mick. Got the most out of the day and learnt plenty.
