Melville Beach, WA, AU.  Quick blast in the sun with Boz, Fingers, Darryl and SRS73.   Testing the new warp fin...Didn't look so windy and had to leave early so rigged 7m...gusty as and this was a handful so came in to change down.  That did the trick, wind dropped out so more of a cruise.  Slowy rigging as left, probably he will get the best of the wind...iSonic97, 7mSvR8, KAR5.7, FlexywarpV2

Quick sesh at Melville had to leave early so prob missed the best wind, left the slowone to redeem the speeds. Rekon the boyz at coods will smash it.

7.7m 63/11 rapid, weedmax 26... again! Hit the water at bang on switch off oclock again, despite getting there earlier. Was windy when rigging- I almost put the 7m on. Glad I didn't. Fastest 10sec was 35.85 on my second run in- only .5kts off the max. Not lit but I was optimistic for some gusts like I saw earlier. Nup... it went fully septic. waited on the beach for 30 minutes and it came back a bit. Problem was as the tide came in the wind seemed to be vanishing as the air over the bank was so warm from the water. I'd line up a great looking gust perfectly but when I get there, suddenly I'm in hot humid air and theres no pressure. I look around and the gust simply vanished... they weren't continuing downwind. Happens at Melville when the water gets too hot. Maybe the thick algae thats growing this year is heating the water up in the lower tides during the middle of the day so its killing the wind. There was heaps of wind out in the deep water but I didn't go out there cos I wanted flat water speed action... Hopefully soon I can find a gust more than low 20s on my new setup... its itching to get powered up.

Funny old breeze at Peli today, felt like it didn't have any power.

I rigged the 5.8 with the 460 wing, and there was enough to get going, but no pressure on the bearaways.

Persisted for an hour, but I could not buy a 26K peak, which felt weird cos it appeared to be windy, but there was no juice when I bore off.

So, not a bad sesh, but a bit anticlimactic after PB action on Monday and a 29K peak on the same gear

Huge turn out today on one of the warmest sails of the season,great to see Doddie back on board :) Wind booted late but the tide rose with it and took the flats away. Powerd by the 53 Pat,6.3 Avanti,20 DS.
