Flex (22544km):
3 hours ago Melville Beach, WA, AU. On arrival was looking like a race to the bottom again with my mate Fingers and everyone grovelling around so rigged the big guns. Was better than expected and first few runs solid cruising. Then the wind changed gears and was hectic. Did a couple of runs above 30 and decided if I continued life would be cut short so came in to change down just as Diablo launched. On the smaller gear it was better than yesterday with less wind but that meant less chop, fully lit so better speeds. Surprised the Slow one didnt make an appearance. isonic117, SvT8.6, TWS33 then iSonic97, 7mSvR8, TWS29

Solo session at Coods. Missed the best of the wind rigging up in a frenzy to get on the water,20 mins later got out for the last of the wind. Super flat with perfect tide and easiest 40 peak ever and quickest session ever :)) powerd by the 6.3 Avanti,53 PAT,18 DS

Decided I should sail a slalom board at least once before Cervantes, and use it in a bit of chop instead of Melville... well I picked a day for it!
7m 110 Radix, 35mk3. A bunch of wingers came in shaking their heads saying it went nuclear and was too much for them. Chop was way nastier than usual there- 1m+ with steep faces and close together washing machine at times. Super gusty, with bullets coming in high 20s-30kts. First run was terrifying. First time on the current revision Radix 110- she was brand new! Fastest run sending it on the edge hoping not to crash... 36.7kts max. It was mental. Did some more tuning and ended up pretty much where I started, but the wind had backed off so it was more manageable... Good to sail in some challenging conditions, and stoked this setup feels like its smoking when its getting crazy. Looks like a few days off to get ready for Cervantes...
