46 days ago Jimmy.s beach. CA92, Ezzy Lion 6.5, 34bpws - 35 lockwood. Intensely beautiful. I took off for one last run on the 35 fin and thought oh shit, this is that one last run too many. As in 10 mins I had to be in and driving to get mrs to attend brother mob dogs wedding at the beach. Committed, I went right up to the spit and needed a good run back to make it, pressure! Made it so good, was fangin all the way home in surreal colours from ash cloud / fire smoke. Water was crazy colours. Both fins went good. Yesterday and today had the gear set the best I ever have here and was starting to feel the board fly.

7.5m custom turbo - RS4 ( 112ltres) - 24cms FF
An unexpected pleasure.
After aggravating an old rib break winging 3 days ago I wasn't sure I'd even be able to rig today ..Pleasantly surprised to be able to sail. I was careful and threw the gear away a few times when I thought I might have got it into trouble.
I rigged the big gear . By the end some of the gusts were really strong. That's the scariest 28.6kts I've got for a long time..
Super powered up with the sail trying to lift me and going over the back of 20cms chop.. about a 7 scream run..
Very happy to have been able to sail. I came in just as it started to get good.
The sail feels small gybing , not like a 7.5m at all.
Just me at 1st then Mike , Bruce , Mick . Brian and others later.

Round 4 of the NSW GPS/Slalom series. Nice conditions at Shingles today. 5-15ish as the day progressed.
Big thanks to Byron and Murray for the organising and a huge thanks to Kev and Bryce who were in the boat.

46 days ago Swansea, NSW, AU, Starboard Isonic 111, Patrik Ride FR 6.8, FF22
This was easily the best session I've had at Swansea and the numbers prove it. I was strugling to hang into the 6.8 as the wind increased in the latter part of the session, but I was determined to see how far I could push it.
With Paddo, Rob and Andrew briefly. Absolutely loved it!

Our last slalom regatta for the season. Not as strong of a breeze as predicted (thank God!) but strong enough to tire me out. I didn't have much left by the end of it. Not the hugest turn out. Ian was my only mate from Marmong there. We had a good time chasing each other around.
Hugest thanks to the guys evolved in organising and running these regattas and of course the volunteers doing the boat like Kevin and Brice did today.
What a great sport this is.
ENJOY...ENJOY !!!
